Benjamin J. "Ben" Allen (born March 13, 1978) is an American politician and member of the Democratic Party who has served in the California State Senate since 2015. He represents the 26th district, encompassing parts of the Westside and South Bay. Prior to being elected to the state Senate, he was a member of the Santa Monica-Malibu Board of Education and an attorney with the law firm of Richardson & Patel LLP.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.smmusd.org/board/ )〕

Allen was born and raised in Santa Monica, California.
